TALKING DONKEY INTERNATIONAL LLC PRIVACY POLICY Last updated: October 6, 2026

Talking Donkey International LLC ("TDI," "we," "us," or "our") operates https://TalkingDonkeyInternational.org (the "Website"). This Privacy Policy describes information we collect through the Website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

This Policy should be read together with any separate consent language presented on a form. This Policy does not itself enroll you in text messages.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you provide When you make a donation, place an order, register, contact us, or otherwise use the Website, we may collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, mobile or other phone number, mailing address, donation or order information, and communication preferences. If you choose to receive text messages, we also maintain your mobile number and SMS/MMS consent and preference records, including opt-in and opt-out status.

Payment card details are submitted to the payment processor rather than stored by TDI. Please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive financial information to us by email or text.

Usage and technical information We may automatically collect information about how the Website is accessed and used, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, visit times and dates, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic or traffic information. We also use cookies and similar technologies, as described below.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

TDI may use information to: • operate, maintain, and improve the Website and our services; • process and administer donations and product orders; • communicate with constituents by email, postal mail, and—where they have affirmatively opted in—SMS/MMS text messages; • provide customer support and respond to questions or transaction issues; • send information about our programming, media releases, Website content, events, fundraising, and related organizational activities, subject to applicable preferences and consent; • understand Website traffic and usage and address technical, security, or operational issues; and • comply with legal obligations and protect TDI, constituents, and the public.

SMS/MMS TEXT MESSAGING

If you provide a mobile number and affirmatively opt in to receive SMS/MMS messages, TDI may send messages about new media releases and related Website content, occasional fundraising appeals, and individual updates about your donation or product order, including payment or delivery issues. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of making a donation or purchase.

You may opt out of TDI text messages at any time by replying STOP to a TDI message. For help, reply HELP or contact us using the information in the Contact Us section. TDI uses your mobile number and SMS/MMS consent and preference records to administer the texting program, send messages you have agreed to receive, and honor opt-out requests.

TDI does not sell or rent mobile numbers or SMS/MMS opt-in, consent, or preference records. TDI does not provide this SMS/MMS information to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. These records are maintained in Neon CRM, which TDI uses to manage constituent records and communications. Neon CRM processes the information on TDI's behalf to operate the texting program. TDI does not send constituent contact records, donation records, or SMS/MMS opt-in or consent records to Google Analytics.

COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and similar technologies, such as tags or scripts, to operate the Website, remember preferences, support security, and understand Website usage. Cookies are small files stored on your device. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent; some Website features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

Examples may include session cookies used to operate the Website, preference cookies used to remember settings, and security cookies used for security purposes.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

TDI uses Google Analytics to understand Website traffic and usage. Google Analytics receives Website traffic or usage information, such as page activity and technical visit information. TDI does not send Google Analytics constituent records or contact details—such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, donation records, or SMS/MMS consent records. TDI uses Google Analytics for Website traffic analysis and does not use it to store the constituent database.

For information about Google's privacy practices, see Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en. If TDI enables an available Google Analytics opt-out feature, information about it will be provided on the Website.

DATA STORAGE, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND DISCLOSURE

TDI does not sell constituent personal information or disclose it to unrelated third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Neon CRM is TDI's constituent database and is used to store and manage constituent information and communications, including email, postal mail, and SMS/MMS preferences. NeonPay is associated with Neon CRM and processes donations and other payments. If a donor selects PayPal as a payment method through the Website, the transaction is processed through NeonPay. Neon CRM and NeonPay process information on TDI's behalf to provide these services and are not authorized by TDI to use constituent information for their own marketing.

Google Analytics receives Website traffic and usage information as described above; TDI does not send it constituent contact, donation, or SMS/MMS consent records. We may disclose information if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect or defend TDI's rights or property, investigate possible wrongdoing, protect someone's safety, or address legal liability.

RETENTION OF INFORMATION

TDI retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including maintaining constituent and transaction records, honoring communication preferences and opt-out requests, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Usage information may be retained for internal analysis, security, or service improvement, or as required by law.

TRANSFER AND SECURITY

Information may be processed or stored in the United States or another jurisdiction where data-protection laws may differ from those where you live. When you provide information to TDI, it may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We use reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and TDI cannot guarantee absolute security.

YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

You may opt out of SMS/MMS messages by replying STOP, and you may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the instructions in the email. You may also contact TDI to ask about, correct, or request deletion of information we maintain, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may have rights under applicable data-protection law, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, obtain a portable copy of certain information, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, contact TDI using the information below. We may ask you to verify your identity before responding. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

TDI does not support browser “Do Not Track” signals. You can enable or disable such signals in your browser settings.

The Website may contain links to websites not operated by TDI. If you follow a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's website. TDI does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of each website you visit.
